Available with a grey backstamp, the cock (male) pheasant is distinctive in colour wth a long tail that approximately doubles the length of the bird. The hen (female) pheasant has a more subdued and cryptic colouration. Their bodies are coloured in various hues of yellow, orange, gold, red, blue and green, highlighted in 22 carat gold with a recognisable pattern for which they are known.
