Caithness Glass Poppy

Black and red powder colours are pushed up inside the clear glass with a metal tool in the shape of a poppy, rich heather coloured glass is melted in behind the poppy and the piece shaped with a wooden block before being put into the kiln to cool. Dimensions 64mm(h) x 64mm(w). Designer Sarah Peterson. All paperweights are hand made and similar to the picture shown, but never exactly the same as they are hand made. Handmade in the UK.
